Which AIs does drawerly work with?
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. You can import the exports of all three. The Chrome extension works on chatgpt.com and claude.ai, and on gemini.google.com after you turn it on in its Options.
Do I need the Chrome extension?
No. You can build your library from exports alone. The extension adds saving from the page and brings your library next to the chat.
Where is my library kept?
In your drawerly account, so it's the same on every computer you sign in on. Your browser keeps a working copy, which is removed when you sign out.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Export chats as Markdown, text or JSON, or download a full backup whenever you like.
How much does it cost?
Free costs nothing. Pro and Lifetime are paid plans, and their prices are not published yet.
Is drawerly made by OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?
No. drawerly is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. It works with the conversations you have in their AIs.
Does drawerly file my chats by itself?
No. You choose the drawer with Move to drawer. Rules you set up can add tags to new chats, and if you turn on the AI tools they can suggest a drawer for you to accept or dismiss.
Can a saved chat stay up to date?
Yes. Add the messages that came after, from the page with the extension or from a newer export, and choose which ones. With the extension you can also turn on Auto-sync for a chat.
Does the extension change the AI's page?
It adds its own button, card and controls beside the page. It doesn't rearrange or remove anything that belongs to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Do I need an API key?
No. Drawers, clips, search and prompts work without one. The optional AI tools use your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Google key, or the allowance included in Pro.
Does the extension save attachments?
No, it saves the text of the conversation. You add files yourself in the web app, to the whole chat or to a single message. ChatGPT exports bring their own files.
Which languages does it speak?
The app is available in English, Italian, Spanish, French and German.
