Terms of use
Version 1.0 · in force since October 31, 2026
1. The service
By creating an account you accept these Terms. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy policy. Who provides drawerly ("we") is stated in section 14.
drawerly lets you keep, organise and find your conversations with artificial intelligence tools and related content (files, notes, prompts) across devices. It includes:
- the web app at drawerly.app;
- the Chrome extension, which works alongside ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini without changing them;
- artificial intelligence features, with the Pro plan or your own API key;
- the Community, where people with an account share prompts and tips;
- read-only shared links.
drawerly is an independent service: it is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are trademarks of their respective owners, and when you use them their terms apply to you.
The service evolves: we may add, change or remove features. If we remove an important feature of a paid plan, we tell you beforehand and point you to the alternatives.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Use an email address that belongs to you and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens with your account; if you think someone else got in, change your password and write to us.
- Your account is personal: don’t share it or hand it over.
- You can delete it whenever you like from Profile › Delete account.
3. Your content
What you save in drawerly stays yours. You only give us a limited, revocable permission to store it, copy it across your devices, process it (for example for search, or for the AI when you ask) and show it to you or to whoever you choose, solely to run the service. The permission ends when you delete the content or the account, except as stated for the Community and shared links in section 4.
You are responsible for what you save and share. In particular:
- you must have the right to save it: if your chats contain other people’s data, you process it for your own personal or professional purposes, and you are responsible for following the rules that apply;
- don’t save illegal content.
We don’t look at your private content, except when needed for support you ask for, for the security of the service, or because the law requires it.
We recommend downloading a backup now and then (Settings › Backup): even the most carefully run service can fail.
4. Community and shared links
Community. When you publish a post, you allow us to show it to people who have a drawerly account and allow them to copy it and save it in their own library, with your username. If you delete the post, it disappears from the Community, but copies others already saved remain.
Shared links. When you create a link, anyone who has it can read the copy of what you chose, even without an account. Share the link only with people you want to; you can revoke it at any time.
5. What you may not do
You may not use drawerly to:
- publish or spread content that is illegal, incites hatred or violence, is harassing, exploits minors, or infringes others' copyright, trademarks or privacy;
- harass, impersonate or deceive other people, or send spam;
- upload viruses or malicious code, try to access other people’s accounts or data, or get around limits, quotas or security measures;
- collect data from the service or the Community by automated means, or overload it;
- resell the service or use it to build a competing one.
6. Moderation and reports
You can report a Community post or profile from its menu. We review reports and may remove content, or limit or suspend accounts that break these Terms or the law. When we do, we tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents it, and you can contest the decision by writing to info@drawerly.app. You can also block anyone you like: you will no longer see each other’s content.
7. Artificial intelligence
AI answers (summaries, digests, handoffs, answers to questions) are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Check them before relying on them, especially for important decisions.
- Pro plan: includes a monthly AI allowance; when it runs out, the AI stops until the following month.
- Your own key: you use the AI of the provider you choose (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) under your own contract with them, and you pay them for what you use. Keep your key safe.
8. Plans, storage and payments
The free plan includes 200 MB of storage. Paid plans include more, and include drawerly’s AI.
drawerly does not sell paid plans today. When it does, it will sell them through Polar, acting as reseller (Merchant of Record): purchase, payment, taxes, invoices and refunds will follow Polar’s terms accepted at purchase. Before then we will update these Terms with the rules on renewal, cancellation and the right of withdrawal.
If you go over your plan’s storage, you lose nothing: you can still read and download everything, but you can’t add more until you free up space or change plan.
9. Availability
We do our best to keep drawerly working at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, failures or providers' problems. The extension depends on the pages of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini: if they change, some features may stop working until we update them.
10. Suspension and closure
You can stop using drawerly and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms or the law, warning you first where possible. Except in serious cases or where the law forbids it, we give you at least 30 days to download your content.
If we ever decide to shut drawerly down, we will tell you at least 60 days in advance, so you can download everything.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and in all other cases where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect damage, for loss of content you could have avoided with a backup, or for what third-party services do (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or the AI providers used with your own key).
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the service or the law changes. For important changes we notify you in the app and by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and ask you to accept them. If you don’t accept them, you can delete your account before that date; for paid plans, the purchase terms apply.
13. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you reside.
